Production writing

We really enjoyed the school production!

We have been going cookie about cookies.

Here is some of our writing about the production.

I  like to be on the real stage.

I  like ice cream.

I  like being on stage.

I  love being on the stage.

I  like being a Cookie Monster.

I'm a Cookie Monster because
I have a headband.

I  like being a Cookie Monster.
It is fun.

We were dancing on the stage.
Then we did the cookie jar dance.

         I  like cookies.

              I  like cookies.

I  like production because it is cool. I really like it the best ever.

I  like being a cookie because I shake my bottom.

I  like dancing on the stage and the music.

I  like dancing.

I  am a party person.

I  am a party person.

            Party person.

        I was a party person.

        Cookie monster!

What is your favourite flavour cookie?

C is for Cookie - The Taniwha's Quest Production

The Taniwha went on a quest and found lots of treasures along the way. He visited the cookie time factory.

He watched the cookies being made.

He then met the cookie monster.

Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar?

It was the Cookie Monster!

Room 3 worked hard to plan and help make the costumes.
First we made a plan.

Then we made a materials list.

Then we used lots of recycled materials and re used old costumes from previous productions.

As part of our research we tasted Cookie Time cookies. They were crunchy, crumbly, tasty, sweet and chocolatey.

Check out these blogs to see how we made our

Jars

Finally we practiced dancing in the costumes.

It was very tricky waiting quietly backstage as we were SO excited!

We had a great time performing on stage!

Cookie Jars

Cookie Time Jars

1. We made a plan

2. We collected boxes.

3. We tapped the boxes up.

4. We painted them white.

5. Mrs White used old sheets to sew straps onto the boxes.

6. We drew cookie monsters and photocopied them onto blue paper. We them stuck them on the side.

7. We glued red feather boa's in the shape of the cookie time monster on the front and printed off the cookie time logo to glue on the front. We cut out recycled cardboard for the eyes.

8. We made cookies with Room 5 to see what ingredients are in cookies. We carefully coloured in a list of ingredients on the back of the jars.
